Are you interested in the heritage of Rugby League and do you have an hour and a half to spare at 5.30pm on 26th February 2013 ?
We are looking for a group of people to help us to develop plan for the new archive centre which houses the Rugby Football League Archive at the University of Huddersfield. This group would have a unique opportunity to look at archives dating from the start of the sport in 1895. The archives include:
- Original minute books of the league
- Registration and disciplinary records of RFL players
- Records of referees committees
- Records of tours to and from Great Britain
- Donations of boots, shirts, rugby balls and trophies from ex-players
