To celebrate International Women’s Day 2017 come and find out the stories of the pioneers of the women’s game, from the first internationals to the cornerstones of the women’s club game.

Talking about her experiences as a women in the rugby league world, the present day and her views of the women’s position in the game and her work with Her Rugby League.

Julia will be in conversation, talking about her experiences as a pioneer for women in the game, from her role as a match official, setting up a female team at Fulham in the 1980s and her work developing the game in the past few decades.

12.30-13.15 Lunch

13:15-14:00 Pat Crawshaw
Pat will be conversation with Julia Lee, discussing her time as a volunteer in the game

14:00-14:45 Rhiannon Davison
Rhiannon will share her experiences of her playing career and her work with Balbir Singh Dance Company combining dance and rugby league
