During the lunch break there will be 2 tours of the Heritage Quay archives, each lasting around 30 mins.
Tea and coffee will be provided throughout the day but please bring your own food to eat for lunch. There are many options locally to buy food including several supermarkets and Heritage Quay will be able to direct you to those on the day.
During the event, in the archive’s searchroom there will be the chance to talk to Rugby League Cares and Heritage Quay staff about resources and support available for RL historians and there will also be the opportunity to help the archives team with their cataloguing project by identifying players in old photographs. This work will feed directly into the RFL archive.
Finally, there will be the chance to find out more about the Heritage Quay Rugby League historian training days, a series of sessions starting in May offering free advice and skills development across a wide range of areas.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to explore the current Rugby League exhibition at Heritage Quay (not to be confused with the Rugby League Cares touring exhibition!)
