Consultancy opportunity: conservation management & maintenance planning

The University of Huddersfield  wishes to invite suitably qualified and experienced consultants to submit their proposals for the preparation of a Conservation Management and Maintenance Plan for the University’s Archives & Special Collections Service. 

The Plan will be a key strategic planning document for the University and will be used in support of applications for external funding, including a £1.4m Round 2 Heritage Grants application by the University of Huddersfield for the Heritage@Huddersfield project to be submitted in June 2013.

Accordingly, the Conservation Management and Maintenance Plan is to be prepared in accordance with the Heritage Lottery Fund’s guidance note Conservation management planning.

Consultants wishing to submit a proposal must obtain the full consultancy brief and supporting documents from Sarah Wickham, Project Director, via s.wickham @ hud.ac.uk. 

Proposals should be submitted by email ONLY to reach Sarah Wickham by noon on Thursday 18th October 2012 at the latest.

This consultancy is funded by the National Lottery through the Heritage Lottery Fund.
