Let’s Go Yorkshire invites you and your family to the premiere of a new documentary. The film documents Huddersfield’s survivors and their family’s stories of the Partition of India in 1947, a significant event in history, and their subsequent migration to the UK to Huddersfield in the 1950s and 60s.
The event will also include copies of records relating to Partition from The National Archives. These will include records relating to both to the build up to Partition and its fallout.
