Wesley Historical Society (Yorkshire) Collection
This major collection comprises more than 25,000 printed items and some manuscripts related to Yorkshire Methodism that supplements official records deposited in the various Yorkshire local authority archives. It has a considerable number of chapel histories (but no registers) and supporting biographies/autobiographies.

There are also general Methodist histories, Conference minutes, the Methodist Recorder newspaper and other journals and magazines.

    Envelopes of material from some of the Methodist conferences. These mainly contain Daily Record sheet, but in addition some orders of service, hymn books and additional ephemeral documents. Includes material relating to the Sexuality Debate of 1993.

    Three boxes of finding aids to Methodist archives of interest in other archives and record offices. Many of these will not be on the online catalogues of the record office, or may have been superceded by more recent catalaguing or description.
