1937-1949Postal tube containing a certificate from the Royal Medico-Psychological Association recording that Clegg had completed training as a 'Mental Nurse' at Storthes Hall, dated 1936. Also a receipt dated 20 Jul 1949 recording that Clegg had paid a fee to join the register of the General Nursing Council for England and Wales.

May 1947-27 Oct 1969Rolled documents. Tube labelled ‘Betty Fardy 26 years’. Contains certificate from the Storthes Hall Group Hospital Management Committee, commemorating Fardy’s retirement after 26 years of service. It is signed by the chairman and dated 31 Jul 1969.
Tube labelled ‘SH Fardy 27 Oct 1969’. Certificate marking Fardy's retirement after 34 years of service at the Hospital.
Tube addressed to Samuel H Fardy, sent from London, dated 23 March 1950. Contains certificates recording that S H Fardy passed his mental nursing exam in May 1947 and Jackson Evans Fardy completed the exam for mental nursing on 30 November 1949. Also contains a receipt of the registration of the two nurses.
