Mary, Mary Magdalene is a song written for voice (soprano?) and guitar. It consists of 14 short verses, and is based on the words of a children's poem. On the accompanying lyric sheet, it explains that the Mary Magdalene referred to in the poem is in fact a granite figure which lies on the south wall of St. Mary Magdalene at Launceston in Cornwall which is said to bring good luck if stones are thrown on her back.
