Composer file collected by the British Music Information Centre (BMIC) for research and informational use by the Centre's users. The contents of this file were accumulated as a result of donations by composers, BMIC staff attending concerts and events, and the BMIC's 'Call for Information' initiative which saw members of the public donating information about composers. This file contains the following records and biographical information about the composer:
Brochure giving biography and list of works as at 1981. Another brochure giving biography, comments by John Gardner, autobiography, memoir, and article on her choral works. Lots of reviews and articles.

These records may contain personal data relating to living individuals. The original may be made available for individual consultation if the following terms have been met:
- the Heritage Quay supervisor is satisfied that the researcher is consulting the records for historical research purposes only and will not cause substantial damage or distress to any subject of the records
